WikiTree has turned out to be one of the most valuable sites I use. WikiTree now promote themselves as “the most accurate & trusted collaborative family tree“. There is a learning curve to using WikiTree, but it is a very supportive community of users. They have the most complete “Help” documentation I have seen. FamilySearch is another great place to create your family tree. It is provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but is is free to everyone. They have a large number of users and vast records you can use in your research. This site is highly respected and I recommend them, especially if you are just getting started out you genealogical journey
